Notice of Public Hearing – Chowan County Board of Commissioners
The proposed Chowan County 2026-27 budget has been submitted by the County Manager to the Board of Commissioners and a copy is available for public inspection in the office of the Clerk to the Board, 305 West Freemason St. Edenton, NC. The proposed budget will also be posted on the County Website and available at the Shepard Pruden Memorial Library. In accordance with GS 159-15, the Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 1, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the Chowan County Public Safety Center 305 West Freemason St. Edenton, NC. Notice of Public Hearing – Chowan County Tourism Development Authority

The proposed Chowan County TDA 2026-27 budget has been submitted by the TDA Director to the TDA Board and a copy is available for public inspection in the office of the Clerk to the Board, 305 West Freemason St. Edenton, NC. The proposed budget will also be posted on the County Website and available at the Shepard Pruden Memorial Library. In accordance with GS 159-15, the TDA will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at the Chowan County Public Safety Center 305 West Freemason St. Edenton, NC. Citizens will be given the opportunity to address the Board at this hearing.
